Hanuman, the well-know monkey god, is worshiped in a number of temples throughout the country.
In some temples his image is set up as standing with a mace in the right hand and carrying mountain left hand whereas in some others sitting in devotional posture before the images of Rama and Sita.
He is a considered to be the god of power and strength, who remained a celebrate all through his life.
Tuesday is said to be the day of the Lord Hanuman
Lakhs of Hindus worship Hanuman and pray to him for strength and prosperity.
